Disney has always been in my life. From as young as I can remember we had Disney toys, Disney posters and watched Disney films regularly. Some of my fondest memories are of family holidays to Florida where we met the Disney cast, explored the Magic Kingdom and drank frozen lemonade for the first time. Even my parents wanted to go back to Walt Disney World time and time again. You’re never too old for the magic of Disney so, last week, when I was invited to try out some of the adult wear range from the shopDisney site I nearly fell off my chair.
I might not watch as many Disney films as I used to (although with an almost 2 and 3 year old I feel I might be about to) or visit the Walt Disney Parks as much as I’d like to but I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Disney. To me it just invokes connotations of happiness – a happiness I’d like my children to experience as they grow up.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the adult wear range as I’d never tried anything from there before however I am officially impressed.
I wore this gorgeous Red t-shirt on the school run the other day and it just made me smile. I never wear Red which made me think that actually my current wardrobe is pretty dull!
Being a ‘school run mum’ means I’m always looking for comfort and warmth whilst trying to maintain some form of style and so this jumper from shopDisney has answered my prayers. The quality vs. the price tag is fantastic and it’s officially the softest, cosiest jumper I own. Now I’m praying for another cold snap so I can layer it up under my coat. I love the details and the famous American Yellow taxicab connotations.
The loungewear is perfect for well…..lounging! I have been wearing it non-stop. As soon as I get home from being out I’m straight up the stairs and pulling it back on – it’s just so soft and well fitting. I’d say the sizing is accurate and the fit of the items is just what you’d want – looser loungewear for comfort and more fitted t-shirts for a flattering look.

I’ve always been a sucker for stationery and so when I pulled out this glorious rose gold portfolio I grinned from ear to ear. As well as adult wear, you’ll also find accessories, stationery, toys and more on the shopDisney site. This portfolio would make a fantastic gift but as it is I’m keeping mine as it’s just too pretty to part with.
