Dressing my husband with Jacamo

I was recently watching a video on You Tube where a lady was choosing her husband’s outfit, from his wardrobe, for an evening out they had planned. She continued to explain that she did all her husband’s shopping and chose most of his outfits when he’s not at work.

I’m not sure if this the norm for most couples but my husband would never let me do his clothes shopping or make outfit selections for him. Not because he doesn’t trust me (I hope) but because he likes to make his own decisions aAnyway, it got me thbout what he wears at the time. We all have days when we don’t feel like wearing a particular shirt or pair of jeans as we’re having a ‘fat day’ so why should blokes be any different?

Anyway, it got me thinking. What would I choose for Matt if I could? If I was allowed free reign over his outfit for the day what would I pick? I’ve made a few selections from the Jacamo website for him and I’d hope they meet with his approval as I think I know his style pretty well after 6 years together.

I’ve never shopped with Jacamo before but what I love about Jacamo is that the choice of sizes vary from a small to 5 XL so it’s very inclusive no matter what shape you are and they also stock great brands such as French Connection which I never knew!

Black Label Long Sleeve Chambray Print Shirt, £30.00 | Jacamo Tobacco Stretch Tapered Chino, £20.00 | French Connection Cargo Short, £40.00

I’ve chosen a shirt, a pair of chinos and a pair of shorts. This is a very ‘Matt’ outfit. I wanted to choose something he would actually wear and not try and change his style because he actually dresses really well. I know Matt prefers to wear darker colours but these Jacamo chinos definitely make a dark outfit more suitable for Summer. I love that the shirt is Chambray and therefore a lot ‘airier’ than denim but you still get that look of wearing a denim shirt which is really fashionable right now. Because the weather is exceptionally warm right now I also chose a pair of shorts which would look equally good with the chambray shirt. Matt often wears this cargo style of shorts so I think it would really suit him.
