What my kid wore #1

I’ve been following the ‘What My Kid Wore Wednesday’ linky ran by the lovely Sarah from This Mama Life and Hannah from Just Hannah Jane for some time and I’ve been meaning to join in myself. I definitely won’t ever make it as a fashion blogger and our style is usually ‘whatever’s clean’ but we’ve been particularly loving a few bits recently so I’ll try and link them up over the coming weeks.

I’m not even sure what the official name of this type of garment is…playsuit? Romper? Anyway, we’ve been absolutely loving it. It’s definitely not something I’d usually go for; I tend to opt for pinks, yellows and pale colours for the girls but I wanted to try something a bit different and this caught my eye. There’s also a Minnie Mouse version I’m tempted to invest in.

Playsuit, Next | Vest, Asda

I think it’s the perfect transitional piece for spring and summer as it can be layered up or worn alone as a cool cover up in the sun with bare toes. Practical for playtime too and no need for me to try and find two separate pieces which match. I don’t do mornings very well at the moment!

I feel like Elsie’s style is already going to be different to Florence’s (my eldest daughter). Florence loves butterflies, glitter and all things girly…think giant printed rabbit dresses from H&M and you’re there. I feel as if Elsie is going to be a little more easy to please. I can see her wearing dungarees and a breton top or band t-shirts.
Why not come over and link up yourself? If nothing else you’ll get some cute shots of your kids!
